Media kit
Reach Australians while they read about cars.
DriveAgent News covers the Australian automotive industry every day: new models, pricing, policy, safety, dealers and the market. This kit sets out where advertising appears, the artwork we need, how campaigns can be targeted and what you’ll see in your reports.

How we report
Stories are researched from official announcements, regulators and original data, with independent corroboration for researched news. Automated checks review claims against their sources before publication, and unresolved gaps hold a story back. Read our editorial standards.
Audience
We’ll publish independently measured audience figures here once they’re available. Until then we don’t quote readership numbers, and no booking guarantees impressions, clicks, leads or sales.
Placements and sizes
Sizes are in pixels. Supply separate desktop and mobile artwork where a placement shows on both.
| Placement | Where it appears | Desktop | Mobile |
|---|---|---|---|
| Top banner | At the top of news pages | 1440 × 180 | 390 × 100 |
| Listing break | Within the latest news and section listings | 728 × 90 | 300 × 250 |
| Article side panel | Beside article text | 300 × 250 | Desktop only |
| In-article panel | Within longer articles (400+ words), after the opening section | 300 × 250 | 300 × 250 |

| Sponsored comparison | In the offer comparison tool, beside matching selections | 600 × 400 vehicle image | 600 × 400 vehicle image |
Display placements are labelled “Advertisement”. The comparison suggestion is labelled “Sponsored by” with the advertiser’s name.
Artwork
- Static PNG, JPEG or WebP images, up to 200 KiB each. No animation.
- Legal text and offer conditions must stay readable within the image.
- Short alternative text for each image that describes the advertiser and offer without relying on the image text.
- A public HTTPS destination page, which we review with the artwork.
- Every image is reviewed and approved before it runs. Replacement artwork is reviewed again before it goes live.
- Artwork deadlines are set in your booking confirmation.
Targeting
Where
Choose the placements, page types (news listings, sections, articles, manufacturer offers and the comparison tool) and news sections your campaign runs in.
Which vehicles
Show your campaign next to coverage of specific makes, models or a set of competitors, or by segment and body type. A page qualifies when it matches any rule you choose.
How often
Optionally limit how many times one browser sees your campaign each day, from 1 to 20. The count uses a first-party cookie in the reader’s browser; we don’t use third-party cookies.
Segments and body types
Segments: Light, Small, Medium, Large, Upper Large, People Movers, Sports, SUV Light, SUV Small, SUV Medium, SUV Large, SUV Upper Large, PU/CC 4x2, PU/CC 4x4, Vans/CC.
Body types: Hatch, Sedan, Wagon, SUV, Ute, Van, Cab chassis, People mover, Coupe, Convertible.
Brand-safety rules
- Vehicle-targeted campaigns don’t appear on stories about recalls, crashes, deaths, injuries, fires or defects.
- Articles without an identified vehicle only show untargeted campaigns.
- Exclusivity is available for untargeted bookings, within the placements, pages, sections and dates in your booking. Other campaigns share a placement in rotation, which is not a guaranteed share of impressions.
Sponsored comparison
When a reader compares manufacturer offers, your current verified offer can appear beside their selection as a clearly labelled suggestion, but only when it matches what they’re comparing. Readers can add it to their comparison in one tap. It never changes, reorders or removes the offers the reader chose, and only offers with verified details are eligible.

A rotating display presence across agreed news placements for a booked period.
Featured Placement

These are browser-reported delivery measurements. They aren’t independently certified and don’t measure unique reach, human attention, leads or sales. Known automated traffic is excluded. Detailed records are kept for 30 days and daily totals for 13 months.
Editorial independence
Advertising is a commercial message, not an editorial recommendation. Booking, changing or cancelling a campaign never changes an article, its sources or its publication checks. Correction reports go to our editorial team, separately from advertising.
How booking works
- Enquire. Tell us your dates, destination and the package you’re interested in.
- Confirm. We confirm availability, placements, sizes, dates and price in a written booking, with its terms.
- Supply artwork. Send your images and destination page. We review them before the campaign starts.
- Track results. Follow delivery in your advertiser account and supply updated artwork when you need to.
