The DriveAgent guide
Our assessment
DriveAgent research synthesis, not a first-hand road test. Driving impressions are attributed to their original reviewers; manufacturer claims and overseas observations are identified separately.
Researching the Australian E35 GT
This unscored guide combines Josh Nevett’s Australian GT first drive for CarExpert with Mazda’s local specifications. DriveAgent has not driven this car. Its exact production interval is unverified; build-dependent safety applicability remains withheld.
Nevett found the GT forgiving on rough roads, but noted float and less settled damping over smaller imperfections. He also reported restrained wind and tyre noise. These are attributed first-drive impressions.
Nevett criticised the high driving position, limited steering-wheel reach and touchscreen menus for routine adjustments. His observations make seating fit and control usability useful checks during a personal test drive.
Mazda declares 190kW peak output and up to 560km combined WLTP range. Its brochure claims approximately 24 minutes for DC charging from 10 to 80 per cent, subject to charger, battery and temperature conditions. These are manufacturer figures, not DriveAgent test results.
Mazda lists a 4921mm overall length including the licence plate holder, 1890mm width excluding mirrors, and 2895mm wheelbase. These dimensions retain the manufacturer’s measurement definitions.
Ratings and findings belong to the publisher shown. Summaries preserve individual observations, including disagreement; they are not DriveAgent road-test impressions. Different scoring methods and test types are not directly interchangeable.
