Geely Brighton extends stock clearance event to 24 October across EX2, Starray EM-i and EX5

One-week extension on dealer stock

Geely Brighton, based at 229 Nepean Highway in Gardenvale, Victoria, says its 'biggest sale event' has been extended 'due to unprecedented demand' for what it describes as one final week, with the offer stated to end on Saturday 24 October 2026. The event applies to new-stock Geely EX2, Starray EM-i and Geely EX5 vehicles and, according to the dealer, is exclusive to Geely Brighton. No specific discount amounts are published on the event page; buyers are directed to submit their details to secure the offer. ¹

Because the event is advertised by a single dealership, it should not be read as a national Geely campaign. The terms published on Geely Brighton's event page describe it as a dealer-level offer available only at that location, and the headline deadline of 24 October applies to that advertised event. ¹

7kW home charger bundled with eligible vehicles

Alongside the vehicle event, Geely Brighton advertises an EV home charger offer covering all Geely EX2, Starray EM-i and Geely EX5 new and demonstrator vehicles. It includes one 7kW single-phase AC home wall charger, but only the hardware: installation costs are not included, the charger is not transferable or redeemable for cash, and it cannot be substituted for another offer. ¹

The published conditions note that Geely reserves the right to supply the charger from its available suppliers and that the brand and model may vary depending on availability. There is also a South Australia-specific caveat: local electricity network rules may limit or prevent installation of the supplied charger, and if it cannot lawfully be installed or configured at a property, Geely will determine the available option and may supply an alternative benefit of equal value. ¹

This charger-plus-paint style of offer mirrors Geely Auto Australia's national terms for the upcoming Monjaro EM-i, under which customers who place a valid customer order between 18 September and 31 October 2026 receive a 7kW single-phase AC home wall charger (hardware only), complimentary premium exterior paint, and a complimentary suede-like interior option on the AWD variant. Those Monjaro terms, published by Geely Auto Australia, likewise exclude installation, electrical works, switchboard upgrades, permits and network approvals, and they state the offer is not available to fleet, government or rental buyers. ³

Separately, Geely Brighton's charging information page outlines Geely's broader home-charging options in Australia, ranging from Basic (Essential) to Smart chargers in single- and three-phase configurations, with turn-key installation solutions available or the option to supply the charger on its own. ²

Finance terms: approvals by 31 October, settlement by 13 November

The finance offer advertised by Geely Brighton is subject to approval, with applications required to be approved by 31 October 2026 and settled by 13 November 2026. The terms state there is no minimum deposit, but balloons are not eligible under the campaign and a 36-month term only applies. Finance is provided by Allied Retail Finance Pty Ltd trading as Geely Finance, and government, fleet and rental buyers are excluded. ¹

The advertised comparison rate is based on a secured consumer fixed-rate loan of $30,000 over a five-year term, with a standard warning that it is true only for the examples given and may not include all fees and charges. The terms note the comparison rate excludes government charges and a dealer origination fee of up to $1,495 including GST, charged by the dealer. ¹

The same finance terms appear on other Geely dealer sites, indicating the underlying campaign is not unique to Brighton even though the clearance event itself is advertised as exclusive. Blacklocks Geely in Lavington, New South Wales, and Geely Brighton's own EX2 model page both advertise a 0.09 per cent comparison rate with a $0 deposit requirement for a 36-month term, ending 31 October 2026, across EX5, EX2 and Starray EM-i new stock vehicles. ⁷⁴

Blacklocks also advertises a separate 6 per cent discount off the vehicle price for eligible customers purchasing an EX5 under an approved novated lease arrangement, and Geely Brighton lists an equivalent 6 per cent novated-lease discount for new EX2 vehicles delivered between 1 October and 31 October 2026, arranged through a Geely-approved fleet management organisation. That novated offer cannot be combined with other offers unless Geely Auto Australia approves. ⁷⁴

The vehicles behind the clearance: EX2 pricing and context

The EX2 at the centre of the clearance is Geely Australia's small electric hatch, which CarSauce reported in July 2026 is priced from $26,490 before on-road costs for the entry Complete grade, with the higher-spec Inspire at $30,990 before on-road costs. CarSauce reported the EX2 would arrive in dealerships from late July 2026 and positions it among Australia's most affordable new EVs, above the 2026 BYD ATTO 1 Essential at $23,990 before on-road costs but below the MG 4 EV Urban from $31,990 drive-away and the GWM ORA 5 from $33,990 drive-away. Those competitor figures are on different price bases and come from CarSauce's comparison, not from Geely. ⁶

According to CarSauce, the Complete uses a 60kW/150Nm rear motor with a 35.3kWh LFP battery for a claimed 252km WLTP range, while the Inspire steps up to an 85kW/150Nm motor and a 47.1kWh LFP battery for a claimed 345km WLTP range, both with liquid-cooled packs, rear-wheel drive and multi-link independent rear suspension. Geely's own EX2 page confirms the same headline figures of up to 345km WLTP, 150Nm and 85kW, and describes the EX2 as the brand's first rear-wheel-drive model in Australia, built on the GEA architecture shared with the EX5 and Starray EM-i. ⁶⁴

Geely's dealer page also cites IHS 2025 sales data in stating that, based on worldwide new vehicle deliveries in calendar year 2025 for the EX2 and its equivalent global name variations, the model recorded the highest sales volume among EVs across the A and B segments. CarSauce similarly reported Geely's claim that the EX2 was the world's bestselling small EV and overall bestselling model in China in 2025. ⁴⁶

A demonstration EX2 Inspire listed in stock at Geely Brighton is advertised at $33,500 drive-away, a drive-away figure rather than a manufacturer list price, and the dealer's EX2 page lists the 0.09 per cent comparison-rate finance and novated-lease discount offers current on that model. ⁴

EX5 line-up and ownership terms in the sale

The EX5 is the third model in the event. Blacklocks' EX5 page lists the Complete grade with 475km WLTP range, a 15.4-inch HD multimedia display, power front seats with heating, a surround-view monitor with 3D view and 18-inch alloy wheels, while the Inspire adds a 450km WLTP range variant figure, a 13.8-inch head-up display, the 1000W 16-speaker Flyme Sound system, front-seat massage, a panoramic sunroof and 19-inch alloy wheels. The page also cites 11kW AC and 100kW DC charging with a claimed 30 to 80 per cent charge in approximately 20 minutes under specific test conditions. ⁷

Ownership terms advertised on Geely dealer pages include a seven-year unlimited-kilometre vehicle warranty and an eight-year unlimited-kilometre high-voltage battery warranty for private owners, plus up to seven years of roadside assistance renewed in 12-month blocks after each scheduled service, and two years of connected-car services including up to 2GB of data per month. Geely Brighton's roadside assistance page notes 12 months of complimentary Premium Roadside Assistance on delivery, extended by a further 12 months after each scheduled service at an authorised Geely service centre, up to a maximum of seven years from initial registration. ⁷⁴⁵
