Lexus RZ600e F Sport Performance confirmed for Australia at $135,000

Australian release and limited allocation

The Lexus RZ600e F Sport Performance is due to join Australia's electric RZ range in the fourth quarter of 2026, according to CarExpert, which reports a newly disclosed price of $135,000 before on-road costs. GoAuto independently reported in April that the 313kW limited-edition model was confirmed for Australia later in the year, but said its price had yet to be announced. CarExpert reports the RZ600e will sit above the RZ550e F Sport and the revised RZ500e Luxury and Sports Luxury variants launched earlier in 2026. ¹⁴

CarExpert reports that Lexus Australia has secured nine RZ600e vehicles from a production run of 200 worldwide. According to CarExpert, they will be available through eight of the brand's 31 Australian dealerships. The fourth-quarter release window is not a specific delivery date. ¹

Price and place in the RZ range

CarExpert's September listing prices the RZ600e at $135,000 and the RZ550e F Sport on which it is based at $104,920, a difference of $30,080. It lists the RZ500e Luxury at $84,500 and Sports Luxury at $91,000. These are prices before on-road costs, not drive-away figures. ¹

CarExpert also observes that the RZ600e's price tag is nearly identical to the $133,059 (plus on-road costs) asked for the RZ450e Sports Luxury 12 months ago, before the RZ lineup was revised earlier in 2026, when prices were slashed by as much as $42,000. This places the new flagship close to the price of the previous range-topper despite the substantially cheaper broader range. ¹

The flagship follows a substantial repricing of the wider RZ range earlier in 2026. GoAuto reported in April that the revised RZ500e Luxury cost $36,559 less than the outgoing RZ450e Luxury, while the RZ500e Sports Luxury was $42,059 cheaper than its predecessor. GoAuto listed the new RZ550e F Sport at $105,000 before on-road costs at that time; CarExpert's later listing gives $104,920 on the same before-on-road-costs basis. The reports do not explain the $80 difference. ⁴¹

Power, battery and range

CarExpert lists a 313kW dual-motor, all-wheel-drive powertrain for the RZ600e, 13kW more than the RZ550e F Sport's 300kW. It reports 167kW and 268Nm for each of the RZ600e's front and rear motors, alongside a claimed 0–100km/h time of 4.4 seconds. CarExpert's earlier coverage listed the same 4.4-second claim for the RZ550e, so the higher stated output does not bring a quicker claimed sprint time. ¹²

CarExpert lists both F Sport variants with a 77kWh lithium-ion battery, and gives the RZ600e a 420km WLTP driving range, 17km less than the RZ550e's 437km, which CarExpert attributes to the added power and one-inch-larger wheels. Those standardised range figures should not be read as results from a road test of the RZ600e. The RZ500e variants have a different, 74.7kWh battery and a listed WLTP range of up to 460km, according to GoAuto. ¹²⁴

Chassis and exterior

CarExpert reports a 20mm reduction in ride height for the RZ600e, together with performance dampers and unique spring rates. Its 21-inch Enkei alloy wheels wear 255/40 front and 295/35 rear Yokohama Advan Sport tyres. The reported braking hardware comprises 400mm front discs with six-piston calipers and 371mm rear discs, with blue calipers. ¹

The carbon-fibre body kit reported by CarExpert includes a unique front splitter, rear bumper diffuser and tuning vanes behind the front and rear wheel arches, as well as bonnet vents and two tailgate-mounted rear spoilers. CarExpert's April model announcement also reported a carbon-fibre roof, which Lexus said was intended to reduce the electric SUV's centre of gravity and kerb weight. For Australian cars, CarExpert lists Neutrino Grey two-tone paint and an optional matte Hakugin White two-tone finish for an additional $5000. ¹²

Cabin equipment and shared technology

CarExpert lists Ultrasuede upholstery and larger seat bolsters for the RZ600e. It reports that the model uses the steer-by-wire yoke-style steering arrangement also available in the RZ550e, with column-mounted paddles for eight simulated gear shifts. Listed equipment includes heated and ventilated front and outer rear seats, a 14.0-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charging and a 13-speaker Mark Levinson sound system. ¹

In a June drive of the RZ550e F Sport, CarExpert found its yoke steering unusually sensitive at low speeds but more settled at highway speeds. The reviewer praised that variant's handling while noting road noise. Those observations concern the RZ550e, not a driving assessment of the lower-riding RZ600e with its different suspension specification. ³
